The magic of the cup is back. The road to Wembley commences with a journey up the A38 to Western League companions, Buckland Athletic.

Buckland will be looking to strike revenge upon us after Tuesday’s 4-2 win in wet conditions. Dan Hart will be displeased with the way The Bucks have fallen to defeat in their first two league matches and will look to the FA Cup as a welcome distraction and a way to kickstart their campaign.

We travel back up to Homers Heath with completely opposite fortunes at the start of the campaign. Buckland will be fully aware of the threat that our number 10, Ryan Richards, poses as he netted 4 times on Tuesday to take his tally from pre-season and the opening two games to 19(!).

Last season, we reached the first qualifying round round of the FA Cup falling to a 2-1 defeat to Helston Athletic. The Bucks fell to a 3-0 defeat to Frome Town in the preliminary round.

If the score is level at the end of 90 minutes then there will be a replay at The Mill on Tuesday 8th August, 19:30.
