It’s FA Vase day and we make the journey down the A30 to Bodieve Park to take on Wadebridge Town of the SWPL West.

The Bridgers have not had the best start to the season of their own accord having lost their last 2 games. Last time out they finished a respectable 4th place which would’ve seen them promoted, had the proposed merger gone ahead. The ‘Point defence will have to keep their own against Jacob Rowe who has picked up 7 goals in 8 games this season.

Last season, Wadebridge Town were knocked out in the First Qualifying round of the FA Vase by SWPL East side, Cullompton Rangers. In the First Qualifying round this season, Wadebridge travelled to Bishop Sutton where they came away with a 3-1 win, while The ‘Point were gifted a bye into the Second Qualifying round where we meet The Bridgers today.

'Point are looking to make it 3 wins from the last 3 games and make it into the First Round Proper for the third season running.
